Tower Bloxx is a puzzle type game made by Digital chocolate studios. The game is available on java platform, so that most mobiles can run it. It comes in 240×320pixel resolution for crystal clear graphics. The game runs in to modes- quick play called tower building mechanic and a city mode. In tower building mechanic mode, you have to build a tower by stacking the blocks being dropped from the swaying crane. The blocks are dropped by centre joystick button or 5/ok key. With each misaligned block, the building starts to sway and gradually it does fall of if the balance is not maintained. The game ends if you drop more than 3 times. Initially the control of crane is difficult to master, but with time, it becomes very easy.
In city building mode, you are presented with a target to make as many buildings as tall as possible within a given area. However, there is a catch in building all those buildings. Building each tower has different requirements like those that a 20-story building can be placed next to a blue building only and so on. Playing the game is fun as it has a novice level of tower building where you can try your hands in balancing the blocks to create skyscrapers or the advanced level where you could try to build entire city. The game play is further enhanced with the animated characters, which start dwelling inside the buildings while you are completing them. It adds to the detail of the game. But it doesn’t has the thing which sustains the interest in the game for a long time. The game though is exceptionally beautiful with superb graphics and jazzy tunes, but lacks story which makes it little boring in longer run and after a while the repetitive game play makes you bored. The game has another good feature that you can upload your best scores to the maker’s server through internet where you can compare yourself with other player’s scores.
