Hardcore time…

Although the iPhone has impressed a lot of new gamers by attracting them with touchscreen delights and motion possibilities, there are still the hardcore gamers out there still obviously unconvinced by the device.

If you fall under this category then fear not because there are still tons of games available to you on the iPhone that will still get your heartbeat racing harder than every before - well maybe not harder than ever before, but they’ll still excite you!

Wolfenstein 3D Classic

Being touted as one of the best iPhone games available, Wolfenstein has been exciting out computers for years now - the iPhone version of the game won’t stop impressing either.  With the game you are given a massive 60 levels to roam around through.  Furthermore you’re provided with brilliant controls designed by the original creator John Carmack.

Metal Gear Solid Touch

It’s the Metal Gear Solid that we all know and love, without the stealth and need for a brain.  It’s basically a non-stop shooting game where it’s you against the bad guys - it’s an old formula that works every time.  The game is a whole load of fun packed into a fun, yet old package.

Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles

The graphics are surprisingly good in this iPhone release and you can really get a good chance to enjoy free roaming without the constrictions of other games.  This game is fun and exciting and it’s obviously a lot cheaper than the same game on a larger platform like the DS.

Spore Origins

Don’t expect a full blown version of the Spore game transferred onto the iPhone because that just isn’t possible - what isn’t possible is a trimmed down version of the popular game that will keep you thrilled for hours and hours.  Customise your little single celled “thing” and watch as he feeds and fights off danger.

Ocarina

If there was ever an app made for the iPhone that was completely unique then this would have to be it - imaging if you could turn your Smartphone into a wood instrument?  Now you can with Ocarina.  You blow into the microphone and play different notes on the touchscreen - Britain’s Got Talent here we come…

Tiger Woods PGA Tour

As the Wii reminded us with Wii Sports, Golf can be a great way of playing a sport whilst relaxing at the same time.  Tiger Woods’ golf game on the iPhone boasts great graphics, professional cameos, extensive tournaments and a fantastic controls that don’t disappoint.  Even if you don’t like golf this game is truly fun!

Hardcore?
