If you enjoy excessively muscled, greased up men toy fighting in spandex then you’ll be a little excited about the new screen shots of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 for DS.

The second outing for THQ’s wrestling series on the Nintendo handheld, SVSR2009 looks pretty nice, when they released the images at the recent E3 event.

Featuring a new control system, which uses the D-pad and stylus to better effect (hopefully much better than the previous version which was just bloody painful if you have big hands…), a bigger roster of superstars, along with new match types such as the infamous ‘steel cage’ match.

If you ever thought you were tough enough to be a wrestler but were either too lazy or ugly, then you can design a ‘mini you’ to battle your way up the roster with the new design a superstar feature that’s in every other version of the game.

So if you think you can “smell what the rock is cookin’” or fell like you want to “open a can of whoop-ass on his ass”, then Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 is the one for you.
