Sun Microsystems is now planning to launch a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for the Apple’s iPhone in this summer, and “some time after the June,” as per the InfoWorld. This virtual machine is supposed to allow the Java applications to run on both the Apple’s devices using motion sensing and touch-screen features, the iPod touch and iPhone.

The JVM (Java Virtual Machine) is to be dependant on the Java’s version of ME

(Micro Edition). According to the Eric happenings, a Java marketing deficient of interest towards Java running on iPhone, with an AppleInsider mentioning the jobs of Steve that Java was not coming to iPhone, describing a full engine as “the burden” to it  and that it was very unlikely to be utilized by the developers.

The JavaScript is “built into phone,” said Jobs, while the full engine would only be the “heavyweight chain and ball,” the website threw itself inside as a relevant quote. Regarding Flash, Jobs were very optimistic during the previous year, something stating like: “you could see that.”

In fact Sun Microsystems knows what can be done with Java and made huge announcement soon after SDK iPhone was released into the market: “iPhone is open now” is open as a target platform, stated Klein, according to an aforementioned source. The Java Virtual Machine (JVM) will be available for free through the newly announced Application Store from the Apple.

After using SDK iPhone for 24 hours, the Sun Microsystems came to a conclusion that the iPhone supports JVM. Klein even notes that they haven’t see anything in public statements about restricting the release of JVM as one amongst the applications made enabled on iPhone. He went on confirming that the Sun Microsystems would be working really hard to “provide the Java applications the maximum access possible to the native functionalities of the SDK iPhone,” through the Java Virtual Machine explained Klein. According him, developers could bring the enterprise applications very well to the iPhone too, such as CRM or ERP, besides the Java games.
