Movies to Games - The Ones You Should Have On Your iPhone…

Movie-to-Game migrations continued…

Yesterday we took a look at a few of the games that are basing themselves on some of the movies that have appeared on the legendary silver screen.

There are a few more that we felt might take your fancy so read on to discover what other treats are in store for all you Movie/Gaming lovers out there…

Spongebob’s Atlantis Treasure

Over the past couple of years Spongebob has really come into his own – he has enjoyed massive success with both children and adults alike and it would seem that a migration to the iPhone would be an obvious step for the sponge.

Play as Bob in five themed levels and get a little closer to your spongy friend.

Underworld Game

Whether you liked the movies or not this game is a good way of getting rid of some frustration – everyone loves pretending to be a Vampire and now we can also be Lycans too.

Get ready to battle it out in three different locations (woods, castles or catacombs) and you also get the chance to play with three different difficulty levels.  This is another freebie so if you’re skint then this is a good one for you…unleash the Vampire inside of you.

Watchmen: Justice is Coming

Everyone and his dog are pretty excited about the new Watchmen film making its way to the silver screen after migrating from the graphic novel medium.  But if you can’t wait for the movie and want to get involved in the action from this very moment then get your hands on this game.

An RPG for graphic novel lovers everywhere – you and the team get together to beat up other players – simple and fun…take your iPhone into the cinema when you go to watch the film and you can pretend you’re the director…

Shooter – The Official Movie Game

Shooter was a great film and you can imagine what you have to do in the game version (the official game no less).  That’s right…get ready to do some shooting!

There are over 30 levels to play through and a huge array of weapons at your disposal – a first person shooter for the iPhone can only be a winner but now you can have a grand old time shooting up the enemy as Sgt. Bob Lee Swagger…it doesn’t get much better!

School of Rock

What list is complete without a bit of Jack Black comedy?  Rock out with Mr Black to classics from such legends as Lynard Skynyrd or even to music you have in your library.

You can also have a test of your knowledge in a trivia section of the app – if that’s not enough you get a chance to try your hand at rock’n’roll music theory…OK, it’s not exactly a game but it’s a good way to pass the time and you get to rock out!

Is there any Movie-to-Game migration that you think we’ve forgotten about or you think is worthy of featuring on the list?  Let us know, we love to hear your thoughts!!
