Nintendo Community Site Launches

Its happened to me before, I’ve put Mario Kart DS in my Nintendo handheld, went on to the WiFi, only to either have no pals, or to play the same guy who kicks my arse every time. Well thankfully, if you need to bolster your friends list somewhat, a new website might be able to help.

OneClick WiFi allows you to exchange your friend codes, so you can get the best out of your DS (and Wii). The site is the usual social networking community we’ve all got to know so it’s pretty accessible. The site’s matchmaking feature is excellent. If you press the ‘Play Now’ button on the site, it matches you up with other gamers online and opens a chatroom for you to discuss the game if you so wish.

Leaderboards are included so now I can see how much I suck, and a challenge system makes you feel even less of a gamer. Online tournaments are advertised so and there is flickr, YouTube and Twitter support, a blog function, groups to join and community forums.

If you are a bit of a billy-no-mates, its well worth a look.
