If the studio can transfer its skills toward the touchscreen DS console gamers should be in for a treat.
While DS LocoRoco has not been announced, Progressive has instead announce ‘Pixline and the mirror of Dreams’, which appears to be an adventure set across 11 different worlds with characters to interact with, items to buy and sell, not to mention a load of mini-games too.
As well as this announcement, there is also some exciting news on the mobile gaming front. Speaking about the studio’s current direction, CEO Thomas Nielson revealed the studio’s intention to add iPhone and Android games to its development.
“We’re determined to evolve Progressive Media into one of the world’s leading independent cross-platform game specialists, and our move into Nintendo DS is a big step in that direction,” said Nielson.
