Not to long ago, Sony announced they were putting together a keyboard peripheral for its PSP, but as time has gone by and there is still no sign, bored modders have fashioned a working keyboard from Xbox 360’s chatpad.

Web browsing on the PSP sounded awesome when it was fist announced but – and I’m going to be brutally honest here – it sucks harder than a Playboy bunny, whose contract run’s out in an hours time.

Sony did say that they’d have something out by mid-2009, but that’s ages away in internet nerd land so those smart cookie modders at the Acidmods community got stuck in about developing their own.

And you know what, it looks pretty cool, its portable, and it reportedly works really well. There’s a video kicking about at the PSP FanBoy website if to want to se it in action.
